Receiving Diksha from Guru Maa

A Complete Step-by-Step Guide to join Sri Kul

As Guru Maa lovingly says,“Welcome to the Ivy League of Spiritual Studies.”

It is no coincidence that you have arrived here. It is believed that the Guru appears when the seeker is truly ready. Your presence on this path may well be the divine responding to the prayers, longing, and inner seeking that have quietly lived within your heart. Through the grace of the Guru Parampara, you now stand before the guidance of a Stree Guru (a female spiritual master) from a revered lineage of awakened Gurus.

तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया ।
उपदेक्ष्यन्ति ते ज्ञानं ज्ञानिनस्तत्त्वदर्शिनः ॥
(Bhagavad Gita 4.34)

(Approach the enlightened Guru with humility, sincere inquiry, and seva. The realized masters who have seen the Truth will impart divine knowledge unto you). Guru Maa lovingly guides sincere seekers on an authentic path of spiritual awakening rooted in the sacred Sri Brahma Vidya Sampradaya Guru Parampara. Through discipline, devotion, and the grace of the Divine Mother, she offers initiation into Sri Vidya, Radha Krishna Ras Bhakti and Dasha Mahavidya (powered by Satvik Tantra!)

Who May Walk This Path?

The doors of Sri Kul are open to every sincere seeker who aspires toward genuine spiritual growth and inner transformation. No specific background, prior experience, or existing spiritual affiliation is required, what truly matters is the authenticity of your seeking and your openness to walk the path with sincerity and discipline.

You are welcome to connect with Guru Maa if:

Upon joining Sri Kul, sadhaks are expected to uphold the following disciplines:
These disciplines are not imposed as restrictions, but embraced as foundations for clarity, stability, and deeper spiritual progress.

As a symbolic expression of their sacred connection with Sri Kul and the Guru Parampara, initiated sadhaks are also encouraged to use the honorific “Sri” after their first name, a spiritual tradition embraced with devotion and not as any form of legal or formal obligation.

Guru Diksha

An Important Note on Fees

Guru Maa does not charge any monetary fee for spiritual teachings, guidance, or Diksha. In this tradition, sacred knowledge is never treated as a commodity, but offered freely as a divine gift, in alignment with the mission: “Ghar-Ghar Gita, Ghar-Ghar Sri Vidya.” The only Guru Dakshina (offering to the Guru) lovingly requested from seekers is the sincere study, contemplation, and understanding of the Bhagavad Gita as explained by Guru Maa or her authorised disciples. Guru Dakshina is considered an essential and sacred aspect of spiritual initiation, and therefore Bhagavad Gita learning, forms an integral part of the Diksha eligibility process.

To support authentic learning and sincere engagement, Sri Kul periodically releases Bhagavad Gita forms and reflections that seekers are expected to complete and submit within the specified timelines.

Officially, the study of the Bhagavad Gita and participation in these learning submissions becomes the very first step toward joining Sri Kul. Please note: Bhagavad Gita forms are opened only during specific periods and are not available year-round. Seekers are encouraged to follow our WhatsApp channel to receive timely updates regarding form releases and submission windows.

Preparation For Initiation

Updeshi Diksha- The Sacred Foundation of the Guru Parampara

Whether one seeks initiation into Sri Vidya, Radha-Krishna Bhakti, or the Dasha Mahavidyas, Upadeshi Diksha serves as the foundational initiation lovingly bestowed by Guru Maa upon all seekers. Upadeshi Diksha marks the seeker’s formal entry into the sacred Guru Parampara. Through this initiation, Guru Maa imparts three sacred mantras that establish the seeker within the grace, protection, and spiritual current of the lineage, creating the foundation for deeper sādhanā and inner transformation. Post completion of Updeshi diksha, begins your mool mantra journey.
Diksha

Alongside the mantra anushthans, Guru Maa imparts essential ritual and spiritual practices through online classes, group sessions, and her written teachings. Initiated sadhaks have to follow all the rituals and guidelines provided to them post initiation.
